Truck

Technical guide

The means of transport vary according to the weight of goods, transport distance, road surface and the sort of goods (fluid, solid, gassy materials). The transport of persons depends mainly on the number of passengers and the distance of transport. The trucks and buses and their tyres have to conform to all these requirements.

The dimensions of vehicles and buses (width, length and height) are limited by law and various regulations. In order to achieve maximum parameters the producers of tyres have to go into low profiles, higher load rating and speed limits. The prices have also to be kept down.
